Plunged in the quietness of the hills that offer unforgettable  sunsets over a Tuscan  landscape rich in olive-yards, vineyards and in green woody areas rises the Estate “Il Poggio Primo”. The construction that you  can admire at the end of the avenue surrounded by olive-trees and secular trees is an ancient farm house dating back to the 1800 where took his first steps the young Marino Marini founder of the present multi rewarded Farm Poggio Primo. The vine wine  farm enjoys more than half a century of experience and gratifying activity.  Marino Marini growen-up surrounded by the genuine of this splendid valley, with love and patience began the cultivation of the first vines at the beginning only in the area surrounding the farm. When the production of the first wine earned the interest of friends and relatives, he decided to buy  other lands to satisfy the more and more numerous demands of the excellent nectar. In the long run the one that was born as a simple passion became  a commercial activity which partecipated  to actively all the members of the family. From a little wine producer the commercializing of his wine became well-knower in all the zone. Strong of the genuine passion deep-rooted in the tradition and of the filial pride pushed his son Vezio to attempt the first bottling. The increasing success and the diffusion of his own wine in all the Tuscany set in motion that today is a flowrishing activity, source of a continuous satisfaction. Also for the Castiglion Fibocchi Comune, the farm constitutes a prestige point and, mean-while, a reference point to all those ones want to taste really a genuine wine. The logistic exigencies and the growing of the farm have brought to buy new buildings and so the ancient farm has been free to develop reception activity. The stone house is a two-storied building with the roof Clad with the typical lateritious tiles (bent tiles and flat tiles). Besides the peasant house inside the farm there is another building where there were the oven to bake bread, the room where were put the tools away and to make all the works subsequent the harvest of the produce. In this separate building, now subdivided in one-room, two-rooms, three-rooms flats, there were wine presses, oil-mills, the furnace to dry the figs and the well. The three two-rooms flats got in this ancient building of the main house cherish agricultural atmosphere where it is possible to discover the genuiness of the country life of our grand-parents. The suite, the most desired flat, at disposal of our guests has been got from the ancient cowsheds and cherishes intact , some elements as mangers and fireplace where our grand-parents usually spent the long winters telling  and handing stories, that still now, closing our eyes in the silence, carried by the chirping of the birds we have the sensation that they are told again and again.
